The Amazing Maritimes.
I'm not going to spoil you and regurgitate all the listings of touristy things to do, but if you follow this LINK you will be blasted by a myriad of things you can do solo or with your family in Halifax, conveniently categorized by seasons.
Something to say about Halifax and the Maritimes in general though; the people are really, really friendly. Not naive friendly, not hillbilly friendly, but just plain friendly. Coming from a big city like Toronto, I can say that I have met friendly people in the big city as well, but if you want to actually experience the exceptional, visit Halifax.
Taste a donair (properly pronounced "doughnair"), taste REAL fresh seafood and Atlantic cuisine and take a ride on the Bluenose 2 into one of the world's largest ice free harbors. The city nightlife rocks, and Trance Logic Club is aiming to add to the mix by hosting some nights at local pubs (more information will come about that at a later date). Plan your vacation in Halifax. You'll love it.

Halifax Records
It came to me in a dream. I was supposed to open up a record label and call it Halifax Records. So just for a laugh I went to see if the dot com for Halifax Records was available and it was, so I bought it. I'm happy with my purchase.
